Symptoms:
The following symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure.
- Fever
- Cough
- Shortness of breath and Breath Difficulties.
COVID-19 is a new illness that can affect your lungs. It’s caused by a virus called coronavirus. People may be sick with the virus for 2-15 days before developing symptoms. The most common symptoms of Covid-19 are fever, dry cough and tiredness.
If you develop emergency warning signs for COVID-19 get medical attention immediately:
- Difficulty in breathing or shortness of breath
- Persistent pain in chest
- Tiredness
- Continuous Cough and Dry Cough
Please consult your medical provider for any other symptoms that are severe or concerning.
Protect the health of you and your family during a COVID-19 outbreak.
- Stay home when you are sick or feel unwell
- Limit movement in the community
- Limit visitors
- Protect Yourself & Your Family
- Wash your hands frequently
- Avoid close contact with people
- While going outside wear a facemask
Implement steps to prevent illness (e.g. stay home when sick, handwashing, clean frequently touched surfaces daily).
Create a household plan of action in case of illness in the household of daily activities due to COVID-19 in the community.
Consider a 2-week supply of prescription, food and other essentials.
Establish ways to communicate with others.
Stay informed about emergency plans.
